Dyra Turner is a Shreveport-based artist who earned her Bachelor’s degree in Fine and Graphic Arts from Northwestern State University in 2023. Her work focuses on self-expression and connection, drawing inspiration from both her life experiences and imaginative worlds such as Winx Club and anime.

Working primarily in oil paint and glass mosaics, Dyra explores themes of transformation and creativity, creating works that reflect personal growth and invite viewers to connect with their own experiences. Through visual storytelling, she bridges the personal and the universal, fostering empathy, reflection, and a sense of shared experience.
