Dynamic Strings -Night Music

This session will focus on music of contrast and imagination, exploring how sound, texture and phrasing can create mood and character.

Rather than rushing through lots of music, we’ll take time to explore different colours, shape long musical lines, and discover how an ensemble can create atmosphere through listening and shared musical intention.

There is no pressure to arrive perfectly prepared. The emphasis is on curiosity, creativity and enjoyment, with plenty of opportunity to try things out and develop confidence within a supportive environment.

Suitable for:
• Good amateur string players
• Returning musicians
• Players who enjoy thoughtful, collaborative music-making
