About this Event

It is difficult to step away from daily responsibilities long enough to think critically about how you lead, make decisions, develop talent, strengthen performance, communicate clearly, and move work forward through others — especially when priorities are competing and conditions are changing.

Dynamic Leadership is built to give leaders the space, content, guidance, and resources to bring their real workplace responsibilities, decisions, and team dynamics into structured practice — so they can lead in complexity, execute with clarity, and deliver real results through others.

Throughout the experience, leaders work through their own leadership and talent opportunity areas using guided application, peer insight, feedback from a subject-matter expert facilitator, and resources they can use back at work.

This is where leadership development becomes practical execution.

Why Dynamic Leadership

Dynamic Leadership was created to address an unmet need Ferguson Learning Company saw across leadership and talent development: leaders need more than concepts, discussion, and passive training. They need active learning, practical application, and facilitator-guided work connected to the real opportunity areas they are already navigating.

The learning experience is built around FLC’s proprietary applied learning protocol, shaped by more than two decades of leadership development, HR business partner, and people-leader collaboration and insight.

Participants do not work through generic case studies. They work through their own leadership and talent opportunity areas — the responsibilities, decisions, team dynamics, and workplace situations already in front of them.

What Participants Work Through

Areas of applied learning include:

• Leading through complexity, change, and competing priorities

• Strengthening communication, accountability, and team performance

• Navigating difficult conversations and workplace communication breakdowns

• Building and maintaining trust

• Supporting engagement, development, and retention

• Making talent decisions aligned with organizational priorities

• Facilitating career conversations, development planning, and succession planning

• Translating leadership insight into practical action back at work

How the Learning Experience Works

Dynamic Leadership is not passive training. Participants engage, think critically, apply concepts, test decisions, and strengthen their leadership approach.

The learning experience combines leadership development content, subject-matter expertise, guided instruction, resources, and templates with participant-specific application.

FLC’s proprietary applied learning protocol provides a structured framework for connecting the content to each participant’s actual workplace responsibilities, decisions, team dynamics, and talent opportunity areas. Participants work through those situations using guided application, discussion, partner work, peer insight, facilitator feedback, and real-time refinement.

Participants leave with more than theory. They leave with a leadership approach they have tested and strengthened—and a clearer path for applying it back at work.

Learning Environment

Dynamic Leadership is intentionally limited to 12 participants to support meaningful interaction, individual attention, and practical application.

The small-group format gives participants space to engage, contribute, receive facilitator feedback, participate in partner-based exercises, and work through real leadership opportunity areas with practical support.

Who Should Attend

Dynamic Leadership is designed for people leaders — from emerging leaders preparing for expanded responsibility to executives leading through complexity, strengthening execution, and delivering results through others.

This includes:

• New and experienced people leaders responsible for team performance, communication, accountability, and development

• Leaders navigating complex people and business opportunity areas

• HR business partners, talent strategy professionals, and learning professionals supporting leadership development, talent strategy, and performance

• Organizational decision-makers evaluating a practical leadership development experience before scaling internally

This learning experience is best suited for participants who are ready to engage, contribute, reflect, and apply learning throughout the session.
