"Little" Dylan Triplett gets us back in the groove in 2021! This band is cooking with gas these days and Dylan Triplett is growing up. "Little Dylan has a beard!" This young man is growing up fast and just keeps getting better and better.
They are red hot and we are very pleased to host them.
This is blues royalty folks. This is the future, the present and the past all coming together and manifesting through this young man up front with immense talent and showmanship. This will be one fun ride of an evening!
Dylan started when he was very young and is beyond his years to say the least. The band behind him is a mix of seasoned veterans and younger players with a young lead guitar in Mitch Montaldo. They are getting better and better and absolutely wowed the crowd at Blue Strawberry recently for Alonzo Townsend's birthday bash. It was quite the sight to see! This young man can sing like James Brown and has deep blues sensibility. The bio below explains it all. All we can say is, buckle up, this is gonna be fun!
Poetry Reading: Jason Ryberg
BIO INFO:
Dylan Triplett is a 19 (now 21) year old Blues and Soul prodigy. Dylan started singing when he was 9 years old and has been doing so professionally since late 2016 when he began singing with Miss Carolyn Mason.
Influenced and tutored by his father, Dylan began branching out towards other young artists like Blues Phenom, Marquise Knox. Not long after, Dylan began performing regular guest spots with Marquise and continued to sharpen his craft.
Dylan also found motivation and influence from other notable St. Louis shakers such as Emcee/Blues torch carrier Alonzo Townsend, Charles “Skeet” Rodgers, and the legends of the past such as Oliver Sain, Ray Charles, James Brown and many others as you will feel as soon as he picks up the mic.
Those influences have led him to already grace stages such as Blues at the Arch, the Baby Blues Showcase, the National Blues Museum, and the Big Muddy Blues Festival. If you have any doubt about the future, Dylan Triplett is the answer….and he’s still only 19. Buckle up.
