Empowerment Through Education, Support and Community hosted by Artemis House Advocates2nd and 4th Thursday of the Month
May-December
Duration: 6-7 PM (7:30 first and last nights)
Location: Our Saviors Lutheran Church
14 total sessions, twice monthly (join at any time)
This is a group focusing on The Power to Change program of education and support in a group setting for individuals who are, or have been, in abusive relationships.
Benefits of participating in support groups include:
~Alleviating feelings of loneliness and isolation
~Reduction of stress, depression, anxiety, or fatigue
~Having a space to share openly and honestly about experiences and emotions
~Help in gaining a feeling of empowerment, control, and hope
education and information to give you the power to change
The Power to Change focuses on:
~building self esteem
~healthy relationships
~setting boundaries
~coping strategies
