DV-alert 1-Day Working with LGBTQ+ Communities – Shenton Park

As part of 16 Days in WA, Lifeline WA is delivering a series of free training sessions to help Western Australians recognise and respond to family and domestic violence and connect people with appropriate support.
This one-day focused workshop builds on DV-alert Foundations training and is designed for frontline workers who have completed a two-day DV-alert workshop. Developed and co-delivered by LGBTQ+ subject matter experts, it explores how domestic and family violence may present for LGBTQ+ people and the social and systemic factors that can influence safety, visibility, help-seeking and access to services.
Participants will strengthen their understanding of LGBTQ+ communities and lived experiences, and build confidence to provide safer, more inclusive responses and referrals.
This training is free to attend, but registration is essential as places are limited.
