DUTCHESS - Rhinebeck, Rhinecliff: Rhinecliff Dock Stewardship Projects

Join Morton Memorial Library & Community House, Dirty Gaia, Rhinebeck Grange, The Pollinator Patrol, ClimateSmartRhinebeck, and Riverkeeper for a day of cleanup, native species planting and invasive plant removal at Rhinecliff Landing from 10AM to 1PM for the 13th Annual Riverkeeper Sweep. This is a rain or shine event.

Volunteers will meet at Rhinecliff Landing.

We recommend all Sweep volunteers to bring a hat, sunscreen, a full reusable water bottle, insect repellent, work gloves and hand sanitizer.

This site is suitable for elementary-aged children with adult supervision.

*IMPORTANT! To ensure the safety of volunteers, Sweep Site Leaders, professional staff, and our communities, we ask that volunteers adhere to the following guidelines:

• Volunteers are required to pre-register for Sweep.
• Volunteers should not participate if they have ANY signs of illness or if they have potentially been exposed to COVID-19.

Over the last 12 years, Sweep leaders have completed 1,199 service projects, bringing together thousands of volunteers from NYC to the Adirondacks to clean up 355 tons of debris, and plant or maintain 7,130 native plants.
