Celebrate Dutch King’s Day in Auckland with an unforgettable evening that brings together culture, community, and a legendary party atmosphere at the Ponsonby Cruising Club in Auckland 🧡The event will kick-off around 6pm with the official Consular Reception of the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in New Zealand. Enjoy drinks and traditional Dutch delicacies such as bitterballen (brisket bites), herring, and Dutch cheeses while connecting with the Dutch community and friends. The reception will be attended by Ard van der Vorst, Ambassador of the Netherlands to New Zealand, and Sake Hitman, Honorary Consul to the Kingdom of the Netherlands.
From around 8pm, the night transforms into the vibrant Dutch King’s Day Party. Expect a sea of orange, great music, an electric atmosphere, and lots of 'gezelligheid' as Heineken brings you DJ Jordy from Amsterdam, who will take over the decks and keep the dancefloor moving all night long.
