Service Opportunity! We need volunteers for some trail maintenance on the Dutch Hollow Trail System in Midway. We will work with other BCHU groups on May 11th to help clean up the trails starting at 9am. Parking is limited, so come early and if you can carpool with friends, it is suggested. This is a horseback event. Bring gloves, handsaws, loppers, pruners, etc.
I do need to get a headcount so if you are planning to come, let me know. This is a great way to show the community how BCHU helps keep the backcountry accessible.
We also ask if you want to lend a helping hand for National Trails Day, they will have a large group clearing trails on foot on June 1st that we can also participate in. It may be harder to get a horse trailer up there on that day, but we could use help on foot. Send us a message for more information.
