Durham Mini Con is an exciting Anime/Comic con being held on the 31st August 2024.
The event features Panels, Cosplay Competition, Artist and Trader Stalls, Japanese food by Oishi Restaurant, Photo Ops, and special Guest Reece Bridger, (Voice Actor/Director whose been cast in Genshin Impact and many other titles!).

Event FAQ:
1. Is there disabled/wheelchair access at the event?
The venue is a fully accessible environment that is safe and easy to use for all attendees. The event is all on one floor with easy access for wheelchair users and people with mobility needs.
2. Should we pre-book tickets?
Yes, you need to book tickets in advance for the event.
3. Does my child need a ticket?
Yes. Tickets are £4 for children ages 6+ to 18, Under 6's go in FREE.
4. Will food and drink be available?
There will be Japanese food from Oishi Restaurant . There is also a bakers + a number of local shops too, right next to the venue.
6. Is there a cash machine on site?
There are cash machines in the Village, just near the Venue.
7. Can I advertise my own event?
Unless authorised by KZ Anime Events, no advertising is allowed.
8. Can I come in costume/cosplay?
YES! We very much encourage this! We also have a Cosplay competition for all ages at every event, so please do come along in your best costume!
9. What is your cosplay weapons policy?
Simulated or costume weapons are allowed as a part of your costume. No functional weapons are allowed at all. Projectile costume weapons (costume firearms) must be rendered inoperable. Projectile costume weapons (costume firearms) must be clearly identifiable as such and must not resemble real firearms. Bows must not be strung and arrows must be stored in a quiver or similar container at all times. Bladed weapons must not be made from metal at all, plastic, wood and foam are acceptable. These rules are for inside the venue only.
10. Can we pay on the day?
Announements will be made nearer the event, and will depend on the number of advance tickets sold.
11. How do I use my ticket?
You will then receive an e-ticket from Eventbrite.
You must bring these tickets with you to the event, either by showing them on a smartphone, eventbrite app or by printing them.
