This will be an open tryout for Durham County dart players with the top 8 players advancing to challenge the current A-team. The loser of the challenge match will be on the B-team. Format will be 501 straight in round robin and then Knockout. $10 Entry fee with all money going to entry fees for the shoot itself and the players.
If we have 12 or more players groups will be made with either top 4 or top 2 coming out of each. (numbers depending)
If we 11 or less it'll be one group top 8 advance.
Whoever finishes first in the tryout will get to choose their opponent first and then it will filter down until all challenges are set.
The challenge match will take place immediately following the tryout so it is all done in one day. The match is a race to 10 legs 501 straight in. If for some reason your opponent cannot be there, it will be the responsibility of you both to figure out a time to play within 2 weeks.
the county shoot is scheduled for May 9th at the corps.
