The Mobile Free Pharmacy provides individuals and families who are low-income with free over-the-counter medicine. NC MedAssist collaborates with community partners to organize free events throughout the state. Individuals receive items such as pain relief, cold and cough medicine, allergy, digestive, vitamins, and even children’s medicines. You can pre-order the items you need and they will be ready for pick-up during the event. Pre-registration usually closes the Monday prior to the event at 1PM.* Online ordering is strongly encouraged and will help you get the items needed. Anyone unable to register online will be able to pick up a premade bag of over-the-counter medicine while supplies last. Due to COVID-19, exchanges or special requests are not allowed.
This event will take place as a drive-thru event and you will remain in your vehicle or on foot in our drive-thru line. Some events have additional activities going on in conjunction with our medicine giveaway and those activities may require you to get out of your vehicle to participate. We will practice social distancing guidelines as defined by the CDC and as instructed by the county we are operating in.
