Come join the fun and craziness of Durga Puja on the ONLY whirlwind tour of Delhi's Best Durga Puja sights sounds and food as we hop across some of Delhi's iconic Durga Puja Pandals (Pandals are decorated tented spaces meant for the community's congregational religious functions) on our annual Pujo Festival Bus-a-thon tour. Safely securely without the hassle of negotiating Delhi's harrowing traffic!
The 9th edition of the "DBF Pujo Bus-a-Thon" rolls out on 11th Oct evening on 'Maha Ashtami' to give you an immersive experience of the many rituals traditions and festivities associated with Durga Puja at 6 to 7 selecte Puja Pandals across Delhi!
Gaze in wonder upon the exquisitely beautiful idols of Goddess Durga and connect with her calming aura followed by the gradual build-up to the frenzied trance-inducing and heart-thumping beats of Dhaak (the traditional drums) as the evening Arati (Ritual prayers) is done; and witness the worship rituals to the accompanying crescendo of Shonkho (Conches) Kanshor (Cymbals) and Ghonta (Bells) at the oldest continuously celebrated Durga Pujas of Delhi!
Then the DBF Pujo Tour Bus will zip across the city to few more Puja Pandals which are renowned for their idols pandal designs and innovations while your host for the evening our founder Ramit Mitra will share the mythological tales of the epic battle between Good & Evil when Goddess Durga slays the demon king Mahishasur and his own childhood memories of Puja.
And what will Durga Puja be without a taste of Bengali Foods which go beyond 'Fish Fry' and the famed 'Rosogulla' so you will savour Ramit's personal favourite Puja Food Spcls as he guides you through a Bengali smorgasbord in the Pandals!
