This year, Blaze riders can participate either virtually or in-person,and we’re introducing several new in-person rides:
IN-PERSON RIDE
In addition to the classic 37-mile Road tour from prior years, we’ve added a 75-mile Road ride, 41 and 82-mile Gravel rides, and 17 and 35-mile Mountain Bike rides! The in-person experiences will offer fully stocked aid stations and a post-ride celebration with food, beverages and live music.
VIRTUAL RIDE
Returning from 2020 will be the Virtual Fall Blaze, so if you can’t make it to Durango, you can still support the team by participating from afar, with fun photo and distance competitions.
GIVING CAMPAIGN
If you don’t want to ride that day and still want to support the team, you can do that, too.
FLC Cycling Fans! Registration for the 2021 Fall Blaze, Saturday Sept 25, is now open! Early bird pricing is $75 before July 1. In addition to the traditional 37 mile Road ride we have a 75 mile Road, 17 and 31 mile MTB and 41 and 82 mile Gravel rides (with some private property access for the Gravel ride!). As always there’ll be a celebration at the finish with great food, local beverages and live music. All net proceeds directly support the FLC Cycling Scholarship and Club Funds.
