The learner quickly learns to communicate in Dutch and to understand the essence of texts. In this comprehensive communicative method, the emphasis lies on language use in the daily lives of highly educated adult students or workers. Nederlands in gang brings the learner to level A2 of the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR).
   • In eighteen chapters, the beginner learner lays the foundation of Dutch in a varied manner. All language skills are trained: speaking, listening, reading, and writing are covered extensively. The realistic dialogues are based on everyday situations, and the video and audio clips are contemporary. Nederlands in gang is characterized by the user-friendly presentation of grammar and the explicit attention to vocabulary acquisition, with engaging exercises, active learning methods, and reflection assignments for learners.
   • In addition to the audio material, the accompanying website contains a wealth of supplementary exercises, vocabulary lists, and extra video and audio material. Furthermore, there are tests and a manual with tips and supplementary material for teachers.
