DUO MAJOYA (organist Marnie Giesbrecht and pianist Joachim Segger) performs music from their new CD and more – an affectionate tribute to duets for piano and organ by way of six outstanding Canadian and American composers. The combination of a 9-foot Steinway and the mighty Davis Concert Organ allows for a kaleidoscope of unexpected textures and colours. This concert is testimony to DUO MAJOYA’s advocacy in championing and commissioning music for piano-organ duo, and will highlight their incredible energy, charisma, and talent!
