NON-D&D: "OKAY, CUPIDS!"
Game Master: Gillian Reed
Game Nights: March 25, 26, & April 1
System: "Okay, Cupids" a simple TTRPG system homebrewed by Gillian Reed
SYNOPSIS: The Cosmic Union of Planning & Inciting Destiny (C.U.P.I.D) has been around since the first heart skipped a beat, and is responsible for facilitating the greatest romances in history. In this adventure, your party will play as a crack team of C.U.P.I.D’s Matchmakers taking on a series of assignments to meddle in the mortal realm. Your team will need to use all the tools at your disposal (candlelight, rose petals, masquerade balls, impromptu musical numbers etc.) to influence the world around your targets and help them find True Love™. But in the flurry of enemies-to-lovers, meet cutes, and slow-burn romances your team must be careful to avoid getting caught in the crossfire of heart-shaped arrows, because for C.U.P.I.D’s Matchmakers there is just one rule: Don't fall in love.
This adventure will use an easy-to-learn TTRPG system homebrewed by Gillian. The tone is light-hearted and role-play heavy, leaning into the tropes of classic rom-coms, romantasy, reality dating shows, etc. The game mechanics take inspiration from "Honey Heist" by Grant Howitt, "Dadlands" by The McElroy Brothers, and "Dread" by Epidiah Ravachol and Nathaniel Barmore. Gillian will run players through the rules and character creation on game night.
