Dunedin Goes Carting Christmas Cart Parade & VFW Fundraiser 2025

Get ready to sparkle, shine, and spread holiday cheer at the Dunedin Goes Carting Christmas Parade & VFW Fundraiser on Saturday, December 20, 2025!

Staging begins at 5:00 PM at VFW Post 2550

Parade rolls out at 7:30 PM through downtown Dunedin and the Mease loop in a joyful winter wonderland of lights and music.

Each $20 registration (per cart) includes a donation directly to VFW Post 2550, supporting programs and services for veterans in our community. Eventbrite processing fees are added at checkout, so the full $20 reaches the VFW. One registration is required per cart.

You must display the Eventbrite Registration on your windshield to access the staging area.

Enjoy a festive staging party with holiday music, food, drinks, performances, and plenty of time to stroll around and admire the creatively decorated carts. Spectators are encouraged to line the parade route and enjoy the magic of the season. A route map will be provided on the event page.

Parade guidelines:

• No political signage or campaign materials
• No throwing candy or items from carts
• Do not leave your cart-no walkers allowed
• No confetti cannons
• Follow all road rules once the official parade route ends

This cherished Dunedin tradition is 100% volunteer-run, and your participation helps keep it safe, joyful, and meaningful. Thank you for supporting the VFW, our veterans, and the spirit of community during the holiday season.

Golf Carts Only — Seriously, Elves Are Watching!
This parade is for golf carts only.
No cars, trucks, motorcycles, scooters, bikes, e-bikes, side-by-sides, slingshots, rollerblades, skateboards, or anything pulled by reindeer.

As much as we love Christmas magic, no horses, llamas, unicycles, sleighs, flying carpets, or other creative rides are allowed — even if they’re jingling all the way.

This $20 registration applies only to the annual Christmas Parade. Dunedin Goes Carting does not charge for any other parades or events — not the 4th of July Parade, Halloween Parade, or any others. All DGC events are always free for spectators, and carts do not pay to participate in any parade except this one.

The Christmas Parade is the only parade where a cart registration fee is required, and that’s because it supports a meaningful cause.
