Whether you're a beginner or simply seeking a refresher, our course includes the Backflow Prevention Trailer—a mobile unit traveling across the country. This trailer is fully equipped with BP devices, providing you with valuable hands-on experience and practical skills.
You’ll learn how to:
• Assess and install backflow prevention devices
• Identify when and which backflow preventers are required
• Understand the risks and knowledge about backflow, cross-connection risks and the types of hazards
• Ensure potable water remains uncontaminated
• Adhere to relevant laws and regulations and comply with the Water Services Act, H&S regulations and local building codes.
The practical information you receive can be applied throughout a variety of roles from plumbing to facility maintenance and will enhance your ability to protect water systems from backflow incidents.
