About the artists:

Cannibal Queen

howdy! im cannibal queen, aka aubrey auclair, aka former rubies frontman, aka just another quirked up ex-mo based in slc. Two years ago i started the project Cannibal Queen, and despite the harsh name, my goal is to make incredibly vulnerable music. i don’t like to stick to standard song structure, as i don’t think life is all that structured. emotions eb and flow, and i hope that listening to my music portrays that! :)

Kaytlin Numbers

Hi I’m Kaytlin! Like other artists, i’m an extremely emotional creature - a blessing and a curse. Music has always been the best and most meaningful way to process my experiences. My artistry takes on an eclectic soundscape, painting time with a variety of genres that will leave you pleasantly.. confused? LMK. I try to honestly depict my life in my lyrics - hopefully you can see the reflection of yours in the details. That’s how i see it now - every song and story is but a colorful reminder that we are all connected.

Dune Moss

Hello you mystic creature! Dune Moss here! Many people have never heard of the word "Faedom", so I'd love to reel you in on it's meaning!

Like most little kids, when I was young I loved faeries! I made them homes, and wrote letters to them. I felt deeply connected to music and being barefoot and feeling free in nature. I mainly listened to music that made me feel like I was the main character in my own movie. I grew out of the “faery phase” in my teenage years, however around the age of 20 I experienced drastic life changes such as leaving my childhood religion helped me rekindle my connection to my inner Fae.

Leaving my religion took away my community and made me feel truly isolated. I didn’t know how to make friends outside of church. I started from scratch and decided I would share my music in live settings and with every show I played, I made deep connections with people and from that point I started to find my community. I had no idea there were other Faeries out there until someone approached me after a show I played at a noisy venue and I was certain no one was listening, and the first thing they said was “hello I’m a faery too and I also walk barefoot everywhere!”.

The word Faedom was introduced to me by that same person who is to this day one of my closet friends.

I continued having experiences similar to that where I would meet someone and they would show me something I didn’t know before and it felt like pure magic. Over time I started to realize how vital my community is to me. Almost every pivotal moment in my life came about with the help of others support and insight.

To me, “Faedom” is a community of mystic creatures who strive to create sovereignty and balance within themselves, their clan, and the earth. I believe Faedom is for everyone. It’s a community for you to feel safe in expressing your fullest self.

You can be a faery, a gremlin, an elf, a nymph, a human, or just simply YOU.

My goal with Faedom is for people to evaluate their community and decide if they feel supported by the people they are surrounded by.

I learned that faedom is not only about letting people in, but also about letting people go. As I was in the excitement of finding my new community I made the difficult decision of saying goodbye to my marriage of 4 years.

It was then that I learned Faedom starts with me. If I am not the center of my life, then Faedom cannot exist. I believe this is true for every person. Faedom starts with you, and THEN your community. We’re nothing without ourselves, we’re nothing without each other.

The first song on my album titled “Faedom” is my calling song to all those out there who feel they connect to my music and want to step into this fae realm with themselves and their community. Each song goes through my highest highs, and my lowest lows because to me THAT is what creates Faedom, the mix and chaos of all our emotions and allowing it all to thrive together in love and acceptance.

I chose the album art as a reminder that the individual is the focus, and then comes our community dancing alongside us. Just as the mother feeds herself before her child, I believe when we take care of ourselves we in return show our community even more love than we ever could on an empty spirit.

Let’s create Faedom together
