A special walking tour featuring the studios and homes of some of Dundee’s most notable Academicians
About this Event

The 200th anniversary of the Royal Scottish Academy of Art & Architecture is being celebrated across the country with special exhibitions and events. To accompany our exhibition in the Lamb Gallery, Dundee and the RSA, this walking tour will visit locations connected to several notable Dundee-based Academicians, including John Duncan, David Foggie and John Maclauchlan Milne. The tour will also include visits to the former homes and gardens of two of Dundee’s most celebrated painters, James McIntosh Patrick and Alberto Morrocco, courtesy of their current owners.

Please meet in the Lamb Gallery on the first floor of the Tower Building. The tour will end further along Perth Road, near Rockfield Street, from where there are buses heading back into the city centre.

Places must be booked in advance. Participants take part in these walks at their own risk. Please wear appropriate footwear. There may be uneven surfaces and occasional steps - please contact [email protected] or 01382 384310 in advance if you have any access requirements.
