Come and sing with The Dumpster Choir...A communal, roof-raising event for ALL voices (especially yours)!
Since the dawn of time, human beings have been bringing their voices together to collectively and cathartically express a full range of emotions.
And then the music business came along last century and wrecked everything, making us all ashamed to fufil this most basic of needs without feeling like we're being judged on the X Factor or something.
But now, The Dumpster Choir is here, so that we may reclaim and celebrate our imperfect voices... and we're going to do it by upcycling some of the trashiest songs of the last 60 years or so!
We insist that singing together is not only good for you, but is an essential part of being alive.
So come along and blow off some steam together, as your hosts Jon and Herbie provide lyric sheets and barely-competent-but-sturdy live instrumental accompaniment.
You just need to bring your voice, whatever state it's in
(and maybe a kazoo if you have one)
Talent or confidence are not requirements to participate!
You can sing as much or as little as you feel comfortable with (you can even lipsync if your nerves get the better of you).
Expect the sublime, the ridiculous, and everything in between!
