A Free-mo meet will be held at the Great Hall of the Duluth Depot, located adjacent to the Lake Superior Railroad Museum and the North Shore Scenic Railroad. The 70x60 space is on the ground floor. The museum is a wonderful host, providing us with lots of free food, free admission, and free rides on their tourist trains. Their collection of 1:1 trains is truly impressive. Duluth is a family-friendly city. It is also an extremely attractive tourist destination. Fall colors inevitably bring out a lot of leaf peepers. Make your hotel arrangements early and, sorry to say, don't expect the cheapest of hotel rates. This event is a perfect opportunity to build Free-mo fellowship in an attractive location with lots of RR history literally at our feet. This has been a popular Free-mo event in past years. Duluth Free-mo layouts over the years have gotten better and better and better, and have looked great and were a pleasure to run.
