We Duluthians, human and avian both, know how long wintry weather can linger. But whether the weather is relatively balmy or frigid, Bald Eagles are already on the move, Great Horned Owls are nesting, and our backyard assortment of birds are shifting as some move north, some arrive from the south, and others pass through. Laura will talk about how to enjoy migration at home and in several Duluth hotspots.

A Duluthian for 45 years, in 1986 Laura Erickson started producing “For the Birds,” a radio spot now airing on independent public and community radio stations from Oregon to New York.
