Duffy Bishop

With a career spanning five decades and two centuries, Duffy Bishop is a force of nature. Duffy has performed in festivals, theaters and nightclubs across the country and around the world.

Duffy has opened for some of the biggest names in blues and beyond, like Etta James, Gatemouth Brown, John Lee Hooker, Little Feat, Lou Rawls, Bobby Bland, The Neville Brothers, REO Speedwagon, Chicago, and Roy Orbison. Bo Diddley called her dangerous!

Along with her musical talents, Duffy is also a gifted actress. She has graced the professional stage in productions of “Rocky Horror Show” as Dr. Frank-N-Furter, “Janis” as Janis Joplin, and Madam ZinZanni in the tent show “Teatro ZinZanni” in Seattle and San Francisco.

Duffy’s deep connection to her beloved Pacific Northwest has been recognized through her induction into the Halls of Fame for the Washington Blues Society, The Cascade Blues Association, and the Oregon Music Hall of Fame.

With ten albums under her belt, Duffy is celebrating over 50 years of making music. And she ain’t done yet…

With the purchase of a ticket, Sapphire guests are eligible for The Riverside Hotel's "Sapphire Getaway" for $179 + tax. This rate is available for the night of the Sapphire Room show and includes a standard hotel room (double occupancy) and breakfast for two the following morning. To reserve, please reserve your show tickets, then call the Riverside Hotel front desk at 208-343-1871. The Sapphire Getaway rate is subject to availability and blackout dates. It will not be available for every show.
