Hagglers corner is delighted to present Dudù Kouate x NOMAD.
NOMAD and Dudù Kouate first came together in France in the summer of 2024 for A Vibrant Sound residency, a collaboration with Creative Peaks and Dubrek Studios. The intensive four-day residency of writing, improvising and sharing ideas culminated in a live performance at Le Café Pluche in Épeluche.
This March, they will be recording their debut collective album featuring music from the residency, and embarking on a small UK tour in April.
Their sound blends Celtic folk, jazz and African influences - drawing from Dudu's vast collection of over 200 instruments - with classical strings and voice. The result is a joyful and dynamic celebration of culture, collaboration, and improvisation.
Driven by the need to explore culturally distant worlds— African and European—Dudù takes the listeners by the hand and, with his vision, guides them on a virtual journey
