FREE ADMISSION!!Come join the fun outside! Our annual youth day is right around the corner! We are so excited to continue this annual Gaston County tradition and look forward to joining with Gaston County P.A.W.S. and Wood Duck Farm to produce the best youth outdoor experience ever!
Come out to Wood Duck Farm on May 9th, 2026 and enjoy these activities and more!
- Disc Golf Course (learn how to play this awesome sport)
- Climbing Wall (come test your skills on the wall!)
- Shooting Sports (skeet shooting, slingshots and bb guns!)
- Pond-Fishing Contest!
- Nature Scavenger Hunt (test your knowledge and skills!)
- Yard Games
- Face Painting
- Decoy Carving
- Outdoor University (reptiles, plants, and other animals)
- Raptor Center (birds of prey exhibition)
- Pelican's Snoballs
*All kids will leave with a one-year DU Greenwing Membership, a great swag bag, t-shirt and parting gift!
*Event T-Shirts will be for sale to adults for only $20 and all proceeds will go toward wildlife conservation in our County!
We will also have two of the area's best food trucks (NACHO AVERAGE FOOD TRUCK & LITTLE TASTE OF CHICAGO) on site and kids under the age of 17 EAT FREE!! Adults can also purchase lunch items at discount prices!
