Founded in Raleigh, NC, DUCK emerged from friends’ weekend jam sessions that quickly evolved into songwriting, house parties, and a steady run of gigs as word spread about their funky, soulful sound. Their music sits in the modern-funk lane—groove-forward, bluesy and jazzy at the edges, and “a lil’ dirty”—with all members contributing to the writing. The band’s recent releases include the MOVES EP (recorded in Raleigh in 2022) and singles released in early 2024, with plans for a new project and continued touring.
