As a host, producer and DJ, Preston-based Rakjay has started to feel the benefits of his hard work over the past few years. His vinyl-only release on NSX and victory in Grime producer clash Beat Boss 8 are just a couple of the highlights.
Rakjay has created a unique sound to his music that is easily recognizable within today's grime and dubstep scene. His productions are always very clean-cut and dark and he's had tunes played on Radio 1 Xtra, Radar Radio and Mode FM by DJs such as Spooky, Jack Dat, TMSV and many more.
He is one of those names that began to be followed with increasing attention at the turn of 2018. His first solo EP Can't Get Away appeared on M62 Records, then he continued with releases on NSX, Crucial or D-BLK. He also knows how to hold his place behind a microphone, as he proved with several vocal collaborations with producers like Hypho and Abstract Sonance.

Domino has been pushing the 140bpm sound for many years now, giving support to some of the biggest artists in the scene that came to pass through his home city of Preston.
More recently producing and releasing an E.P with stablemate LJ, for the mighty Smokin' Sessions label, and can hear productions getting continued support from DJ's such as Spooky, Sir Spyro, Slin, Jakebob and DJ BPM, to name a few, via their radio shows on 1Xtra, ModeFM, Radar Radio, Resonance104.4FM, Trickstar and Raadio2, Estonia.
Expect to hear new and fresh dubs, as Paul is looking forward to his 4th time playing in Estonia, alongside Rakjay and the Dubshack gang.
