About this Event
Dublin My City of Dreams aims to support integration of people living or working in Dublin city, by working in collaboration and partnership with mainstream services and other support groups and organizations to leverage and increase community impact and reach. In 2012- 2014 AkiDwA worked with Dublin City Council on a project called One People One City where the organization engaged indigenous and migrant communities living in North inner city. This project Dublin My City of Dreams broadens the reach to Dublin wider city targeting migrants, indigenous people, organizations and groups including the youth.
Whereas there is a survey and writing competition, this art session gives an opportunity to participants to articulate their views and propositions for an ideal city of their dreams, using creative art.
The session is free of charge and all art materials are provided by AkiDwA, with support from Dublin City Council, the project funder. Come one, come all!
