While Apartheid Israel's genocide in Gaza and campaign of ethnic cleansing in the West Bank have understandably dominated headlines over the past two years, Palestinian citizens of Israel have also faced an escalating campaign of repression, criminalisation and state-backed efforts to erase not only their Palestinian identity, but their very presence in their homeland.We invite you to hear first hand from Rula Nasr-Mazzawi, a Palestinian community activist from Nazareth, who will discuss the situation on the ground for these Palestinians who are often invisiblised by media narratives.

About Rula
Rula Nasr-Mazzawi is a psychologist, psychotherapist and Palestinian activist. She is a Palestinian citizen of the Apartheid state of Israel, and an internally displaced person; her family was originally forced from Beisan City which was ethnically cleansed in 1948, she now lives in Nazareth.
She is a board member of BADIL Resource Center for Palestinian Residency and Refugee Rights, a member of the Lajee Center in Aida refugee camp in Bethlehem, and a member of the Association of Defence of the Rights of the Internally Displaced (ADRID), which advocates for Palestinians who remain displaced -internal refugees- within the Apartheid state of Israel.
