About this Event
T he first annual Dublin Coffman Cross Country Camp will be hosted by the Dublin Coffman XC team, coaches, and boosters.
WHO: Any incoming 4th through 8th grader (boys or girls!) interested in running, cross country, or just looking to get in shape for the fall!
- Those who are planning on competing in middle school cross country this year.
- Those who are planning on competing in middle school cross country in the future.
- Those who are training for a local 5k or other race.
- Those who are looking to get into shape for their fall sport or other reason.
- Those who just want to see if they might like running, and want to learn more about the sport, as well as have the opportunity for fun and socialization and a positive experience around working out!
WHAT: A four day running camp filled with:
-Running, training, and nutrition advice from the Coffman cross country runners and coaches
-Runs of various intensities/lengths depending on skill/age/experience and goals
-Fun games and competitions including prizes
-Bonding and friendships being made, while learning what Coffman XC is all about
-Daily snacks
-A fun race to end the week
WHERE: We will meet at Dublin Coffman HS, outside the stadium each day.
WHEN: Monday, July 22nd through Thursday, July 25th from 9:00 AM until 11:30 AM each day. (Contingency date on Friday, July 26th in case of a weather related cancellation earlier in the week)
COST: $85 for the week
The entry fee will go to providing all campers with:
- A Coffman camp t-shirt
- Post-workout snacks and drinks, games, and prizes
- The end of week race
