DUBAI BASKETBALL
Dubai Basketball is an ambitious sports project, that dawned in 2024. Its vision is to be recognized as a leader in all aspects of the sport, aiming to regularly participate in the most prestigious club competitions in Europe and to make a significant impact on sports culture. They aim to elevate the standards of sports organizations both in the region and across Europe, starting with the ABA League and extending through the European competitions and beyond.
Even though a newly founded project, Dubai Basketball can already be proud of the fact that they are participating in the ABA League, the leading basketball club competition in the region and one of the leading ones in Europe, since the very start of the 2024/25 season.
MORNAR-BARSKO ZLATO
Established in 1974, the club achieved a huge breakout midway through the 1990s, when it succeeded in qualifying to the time prestigious FIBA Radivoj Korać Cup through the Yugoslavian League. The league was one of the strongest domestic leagues in Europe at that time. The team’s breakthrough was in the 2016/17 season, when the club managed to reach the finals of Montenegrin National Championship and National Cup, as well as the final of the Balkan League. That season also marked as their inaugural promotion to the ABA League. In 2018, they reached the ABA League playoffs and won the Montenegrin National Championship. The season is known as their most successful of the club's history.
