Дългоочакваният концерт на Dub Pistols в София ще се състои на 17 октомври в Топлоцентрала – част от актуалното им турне и първа възможност българската публика да чуе на живо новия им албум Enter The Sound, реализиран съвместно с Freestylers.
Създадени в края на 90-те години около Barry Ashworth, Dub Pistols се развиват от студиен проект в една от най-утвърдените британски лайв банди. През годините те изграждат разпознаваем стил, в който се срещат реге, ска, дъб, хип-хоп и електронни влияния, като запазват силна връзка със саундсистем културата и клубната сцена. Албуми като Point Blank, Rum & Coke и Addict оформят тяхната идентичност и ги утвърждават като стабилно присъствие на европейската сцена.
През 2026 г. Dub Pistols обединяват сили с Freestylers за Enter The Sound – съвместен албум, изграден около басово насочено звучене и силна жанрова динамика. Проектът преминава през реге, ска, брейкбийт, джънгъл, хип-хоп и трип-хоп, като обединява дългогодишните влияния на двете формации в последователна и добре структурирана цялост.
Още с излизането си албумът постига значим успех – достига №1 в Official Dance Albums Chart и Official Indie Albums Breakers Chart, както и №2 в Official Independent Albums Chart. В него участват и редица гост-артисти, сред които Johnny Osbourne, Tippa Irie, General Levy, Too Many T’s, Horseman, Belle Humble, Scarlett Quinn, Tenor Fly, MC Spyda, Persona, Harry Shotta и Seanie T.

The long-awaited Dub Pistols show in Sofia will take place on October 17 at Toplocentrala, as part of their current tour and marking the first opportunity for the Bulgarian audience to experience their new album Enter The Sound, created in collaboration with Freestylers.
Formed in the late 1990s around Barry Ashworth, Dub Pistols evolved from a studio project into one of the UK’s most established live bands. Over the years, they have developed a recognizable style that blends reggae, ska, dub, hip-hop, and electronic influences, while maintaining a strong connection to sound system culture and the club scene. Albums such as Point Blank, Rum & Coke, and Addict have helped define their identity and establish their presence across Europe.
Released in March 2026, Enter The Sound is a collaborative album with Freestylers, built around a bass-heavy sound and strong genre diversity. The record moves across reggae, ska, breakbeat, jungle, hip-hop, and trip-hop, combining the long-standing influences of both acts into a cohesive whole.
Upon release, the album achieved significant chart success, reaching Number 1 on the Official Dance Albums Chart and the Official Indie Albums Breakers Chart, as well as Number 2 on the Official Independent Albums Chart. It also features a wide range of guest artists, including Johnny Osbourne, Tippa Irie, General Levy, Too Many T’s, Horseman, Belle Humble, Scarlett Quinn, Tenor Fly, MC Spyda, Persona, Harry Shotta, and Seanie T.
