Dualism is a philosophical doctrine that recognizes the equality and indivisibility of two fundamental principles in the universe - material and spiritual, physical and mental, body and soul. The basis of dualism is the theory of duality of every element of our reality.
Thus, dualism is based on the philosophical principle of the unity and struggle of opposites, which asserts that unity cannot exist without opposites, and vice versa.
Accordingly, all objects in the Universe have opposites, which leads to inevitable contradictions and collisions between them.
In the end, one of the existing objects disappearing forever, and a new one appearing in its place. This process is infinite and is the basis of all development and progress.
In art, dualism can be explored through relationship between contrasting concepts such as light and shadow, nature and technology, reality and fiction, digital and real.
The show will showcase works that reveal duality in various forms and manifestations. Artists will explore the opposites typically associated with dualism to create contrasting effects and convey complex ideas and emotions. Thus, the exhibition will become a platform for exploring dualism as both a philosophical and artistic concept.
