Please join us for our weekly meeting in person at Fenton Cafe featuring our speaker, Hannah Oliver Depp, co-owner of Loyalty Bookstores in Petworth, DC and Silver Spring, MD. Loyalty serves all readers as a diverse, intersectional feminist bookstore and programming space. Hannah holds a Masters in English from American University and worked as an educator for many years. Oliver Depp is a founding member of the American Bookselling Association Committee on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion and serves on the boards of Bookshop.org and as The President of the New Atlantic Independent Bookselller’s Assocation (NAIBA). She has judged numerous book awards including the Kirkus Prize and the National Book Award. In 2021 she was honored to receive the Women’s National Book Association Woman of the Year Award.
