DT Conference

This event will be hosted by James Tucker, Holly Doswell and the DT Steering Group.

This session will focus on the principles of a highly-effective D&T curriculum, the progression of knowledge through the curriculum and how we utilise the disciplinary concepts and brief to design a unit of learning.

Please bring an electronic device and your own lunch; refreshments will be provided.

Desired outcomes:

· Review the principles of an effective D&T curriculum

· The understand the progression of concepts and knowledge through the curriculum

· To understand the process of planning an effective D&T unit

· To collaborate and form strong relationships with colleagues across the Trust and within your hub, to network as a community.

· To have a framework for curriculum development that can be applied at school and/or Hub level

· To utilise new learning in action-planning next steps for implementation in your own setting.
