Join us on December 14 for our holiday concert, DSE Presents "America at 250," featuring a program of works by Undine Smith Moore, Jennifer Higdon, Leonard Bernstein, Bobby Capó, Noel Estrada, María Grever and Consuelo Velázquez arranged by Gabriel Globus-Hoenich, and a world première by Jacob Bancks. With the rich songwriting tradition of Puerto Rico represented, the program is connected to our award-winning Música en tus Manos (Music in Your Hands) project highlighting chamber and popular by Latin American and Latino composers and engaging Philadelphia's Latino communities.
Our popular artist team features Dolce Suono Trio (Mimi Stillman, flute - Gabriel Cabezas, cello - Charles Abramovic, piano), Celina Vélez, voice, and Gabriel Globus-Hoenich, percussion
