Srdečně vás zveme na promítání dokumentárního filmu SHIFT CHANGE, které se uskuteční 2. dubna od 19:00 v prostoru AC254 v pražských Holešovicích. Film bude promítán v anglickém znění s anglickými titulky.

V době, kdy mnoho lidí ztrácí důvěru ve velké banky, korporace a vidí rostoucí nerovnost, nabízí komunitní vlastnictví reálná řešení ekonomické i klimatické krize. Při tvorbě dokumentu „Shift Change“ získali filmaři Dworkin a Young bezprecedentní přístup k šedesát let staré síti družstevních podniků Mondragon v Baskicku ve Španělsku. Navštívili také mnoho úspěšných příkladů družstevních podniků ve Spojených státech. Společně s členy družstev z celých USA Dworkin a Young vysvětlují, jak jsou tyto podniky organizovány a jaké výhody přináší pracujícím a komunitám, když demokraticky rozhodují o fungování své firmy a společnosti. 🔥🔥🔥
Po promítání bude následovat společná debata všech zúčastněných.
Tato akce je součástí série promítání s názvem Budoucnost hnutí za klimatickou spravedlnost, jejímž cílem je otevírat prostor pro kritickou reflexi a diskusi o tom, jak se jako společnost i jako hnutí můžeme postavit k výzvám, které před námi stojí. ✊✊✊

We warmly invite you to a screening of the documentary SHIFT CHANGE, which will take place on April 2 at 7:00 PM at AC254 in Prague’s Holešovice district. The film will be shown in English with English subtitles.

At a time when many people are losing trust in big banks and corporations and witnessing growing inequality, community ownership offers real solutions to both the economic and climate crises. While making Shift Change, filmmakers Dworkin and Young gained unprecedented access to the 60-year-old network of cooperative businesses Mondragon in the Basque Country of Spain. They also visited many successful cooperative businesses in the United States. Together with cooperative members from across the U.S., Dworkin and Young explain how these businesses are structured and the benefits they bring to workers and communities when they democratically control how their company and society function. 🔥🔥🔥
After the screening, we will hold a collective discussion with all participants.
This event is part of a screening series called The Future of the Climate Justice Movement, which aims to create space for critical reflection and discussion on how we, as a society and as a movement, can respond to the challenges ahead. ✊✊✊
