Drunken Sunday is bringing the party back home to Akron March 21st with an all-out banger of a show! Featuring performances from Lake Irie, Zoo Trippin and Drunken Sunday!
Drunken Sunday -
Drunken Sunday returned in 2025 and has been making waves once again in the NE Ohio music scene. Original front-man Joel Covender is back with a new line-up consisting of Bradley Knepp on drums, Jimmy Parsons on Bass and Richie Reiheld on guitar. Together they defy labels as their vast array of influences and experiences blend effortlessly into unique and unforgettable collaborations.
Drunken Sunday's music gives a voice to the things we all experience as human beings. The joy, the pain, and the pursuit of the things we love. How it feels to overcome the trials of your life, or the lingering sting of loss, to the satisfaction of going all in and coming out on top.
Zoo Trippin –
Zoo Trippin’ is a Columbus-based alternative rock band known for explosive live shows and gritty, groove-driven anthems. The five-piece (Tony Casa – vocals, Lynn Roose – bass, Zach Ponzer – guitar, Ferris Clark – guitar, Dennis Manns – drums) has headlined major festivals including Comfest and Columbus Arts Fest and shared stages with regional and national acts across the Midwest
Lake Irie-
Lake Irie is an original 6-piece reggae/rock dub band based out of Cleveland Ohio. Featuring Cory ‘Woody’ – vocal front man Derek ‘Goose’ – drum beater Brandon ‘Dibby’ – guitar slayer Eddy ‘Skuda’ – bass basher Alex ‘Monstertruck’ – keyboard crusher Dan ‘George’ – percussion patter. Founded in 2020, Lake Irie has shared the stage with Arise Roots, Mighty Mystic, Pacific Dub, ekoostik Hookah, The Quasi Kings, and many more. Lake Irie’s releases include ‘Don’t Look’ (2023) and ‘Down Below’ (2024), and ‘Burn Fire’ (released April 20th 2025), with even more recordings currently underway. To put it quite simply, a couple of Cleveland local Boonoonoonoos decided this world needs a little more Peace n Love. And what better way than with the cool Irie vibes of some reggae, reggae/rock, dub music.!? So we bring that good vibes music to the beautiful shores of Lake Erie… We are Lake Irie!
