About this Event
!EXTRA DATE!
Book now for an evening of comedy, crime and literature, as the hit comedy podcast, Drunk Women Solving Crime returns to St James this November - and they are not alone, as local girl made good, Dawn O’Porter is their very special guest!
Not only will you get to see and be a part of a live recording of the show, but the evening will start off with a Q&A with Sunday Times bestselling author, Dawn about her new book, Honeybee - a brilliant contemporary novel about womanhood, winging it, and the wonder of female friendship.
We then settle in to hear about a gripping true crime from history, courtesy of Drunk Women Solving Crime hosts, Taylor Glenn and Hannah George with guest detective, Dawn. And while they might not actually solve the case, they sure as hell won't make it worse...
DRUNK WOMEN SOLVING CRIME is an award-winning true crime podcast with a twist… of lime. Join writer/comedian hosts Hannah George and Taylor Glenn as they welcome top guests from comedians to crime writers to test out their drunk detective skills.
Past guests have included, Katherine Ryan, Martina Cole, Ricki Lake, Samira Ahmed, Anneka Rice, Shaparak Khorsandi, Susie Dent and Fern Britton to name only a few.
The show has enjoyed sell out runs at the Edinburgh Fringe, venues around the UK, AND a fantastic show at St James back in 2022!
DAWN O’PORTER is an author, presenter and absolute fashion icon. She has written nine books including bestselling novels and is co-founder and director of Choose Love, designs dresses for Joanie Clothing and has a large following on her Patreon blog.
