DRUMSTRONG 2024 + LEAF.org World Drum Day event is focussing support for disaster relief in Western N.C. Free :: Family Friendly Drum Circle!

We are suggesting people bring essentials to donate ('pop-top’ canned food, dry goods, baby supplies, cases of H2o, full propane tanks, blankets, etc), and of course money to donate to assist those in hard-hit WNC areas.
This will directly benefit communities in need..
Drumming goes well beyond the evident fun & bonding, and as a personal/collective outlet, group drumming with focused intention avails so much for all...
Cities around the world will 'join hands' and drum with us showing their love and support.

This event happens on Sukkot, the Jewish Sanctuary Harvest Festival .
Sukkot is considered a joyous, sharing occasion to commemorate the Jews coming out of wandering, the gathering of harvest and the sukkah itself (a temporary shelter) symbolizes the fragility and transience of life.
Reminds us of the ephemeral nature of life and how when taken to heart and allowed to energize, it can inspire the human spirit. We share what we have...
We are NOT forgetting or forgoing our Humanitarian Health initiatives, the 'Rhythm Aid Projects' at The Okhmatdyt Children's Hospital and our friends in Kyiv, Ukraine. This project is ongoing, expanding, and wants your support as well.
