Join us for an evening of music and delicious food in Media! The performance will be outdoors on State Street between the outdoor seating areas for Shere-e-Punjab and Azie restaurants during Dining Under the Stars.
Drums&Keys is a blues/rock/second line experience like none other. Join multifaceted percussion guru Gusten Rudolph and boogie-woogie professor Rev Chris as they gloriously romp thru hot originals and unique arrangements of covers. Rev and Gusten have been performing together as part of Rev C's larger Quintet (and sometimes sextet) and released a popular recording, Live at the Mermaid Inn, the ninth album in Rev's discography. Gusten has recorded and performed with a myriad of jazz heavy hitters including trumpeter Elliot Bild, saxophonist John Petrucelli and with Philly rock band Stereo League. His fonky beats mesh well with New Orleans expatriate Rev Chris, who spend a decade living in the Crescent City and studying and touring with many popular funk and swing bands from the City that Care Forgot.
