Join musician Perry Smith as he guides you through a joyous, rhythmic adventure! We’ll explore rhythm styles from West Africa to the Middle East as a means to enhance our listening and communicating skills, find deeper connection with each other and ourselves, and open to a greater sense of well being. All levels welcome. Drums are provided, but feel free to bring your own!
A note from Perry:
I had the wonderful opportunity to work with Chuck Davis and the African American Dance Ensemble for three years. Baba Chuck always encouraged us to share his teachings with our communities through his model of Peace, Love, and Respect for Everybody.
