We are thrilled to offer you the chance to touch the stars without crossing the Atlantic, right here in Oxford. Join us as we bring you the essence of Brazilian culture and the vibrant rhythms of samba reggae, allowing you to "drink from the fountain" and strengthen you connection as part of the worldwide samba reggae family.
As part of the Ilê Aiyês 50 years anniversary tour, MAMA Sound, in partnership with Gandaia Arts brings to Oxford the opportunity to experience the culture of Afro Samba/Samba reggae directly from the legendary artists such as Marivaldo Paim (musical director) & 2024's Ebony Goddess Larissa Valéria amongst other Ilê artists running the outreach sessions.
