During this workshop, you will hand-make your own sacred shamanic drum. Drumming is an excellent way to achieve an altered state of consciousness. Some shamans describe their drum as the horse they ride to enter and traverse the Otherworld. You will be able to choose the size of drum (18" or 20") you want to make, as well as the rawhide you want to use (Buffalo, Cow, Deer, Elk, or Horse). The cost of the drum will depend on your choice of drum size and hide. The cost will vary between $180 (18" cow hide) up to $230 (20" Buffalo hide). Drum beaters and bag are separate.
