Get ready for an energizing, hands-on drumming experience! Bring your djembes, drums and dununs—individual drums or full ballet sets are welcome. These workshops are always a blast, and you’ll be amazed at how much you can learn in a single session while having an incredible amount of fun.
Come ready to play, learn, and have a great time!

There will be a drum tuning session in the morning starting at 9:00 AM open to all drum types. This session is a great opportunity to learn proper tuning techniques, improve the sound and responsiveness of your drums, and ask questions about drum care and maintenance. Whether your drum needs a minor adjustment or a full tuning, all are welcome to participate and get their instruments performance-ready for the day’s workshops.
Time line for the tuning and classes are as follows:
Drum tuning ($20):
9:00am - 12noon
12 - 1:30 Lunch
Drum classes:
1:30-3:00pm
and
3:30 -5:00pm
Classes are $20 each or $30 for both.
Open to all skill levels, these workshops give drummers the chance to build technique, learn new rhythms, and enjoy making music with a vibrant community of fellow drummers.
