This program takes place at our French Quarter Visitor Center - 419 Decatur St, New Orleans, LA 70130. Admission is free and open to the public, seating is limited and offered first come, first-served basis.
Join us for an interactive drum & dance circle as we honor those who came before us. Play drums and learn about our cultural history and the legacy of Congo Square in New Orleans.
The Congo Square Preservation Society preserves and honors the Black and Indigenous traditions and sacred integrity of historic Congo Square’s roots of resistance, ritual, and remembrance.
This drum circle is open to all ages. No experience required.
