Join us for a Drum Circle with Dr Paula!

Get ready to drum with Dr Paula leading the way. This in-person event is perfect for anyone looking to unwind, connect with others, and make some awesome music together. No experience necessary! Just bring your drumming spirit and get ready to have some fun!

Event Details:

• Date: March 22, 2025
• Time: 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm MST
• Location: Marchionda Imaginative Medicine Institute (MIMI's Clinic)

What to Expect:

The first part consists of introductions, and demos showing different sounds on the drum.

The second part begins with a breathing exercise and everyone relaxing and coming fully into the space. Next we get into synchronized drumming (which shows proven physical, mental and emotional benefits).

The third part is the intentional drumming portion. We collectively agree on an intention and turn the words into a rhythm that everyone can join in and focus on.

The last part is a meditative space where we relax. In this space chimes, singing bowls and other instruments invite you to relax and integrate the experience.

There will be time to visit with each other after the event

What to Wear: Dress in layers and wear loose, comfortable clothing. As a courtesy to others, please refrain from wearing perfume, cologne, scented body lotion, or other body fragrances.

What to Bring: Have your owns drum(s), sound medicine or percussion intrument(s)? Feel free to bring them along! If you don't we will have drums available.
