About this Event

The drug supply is constantly changing, creating new challenges for individuals who use drugs, their families, and the professionals and organizations supporting them. This session will explore current trends in overdose, medications for addiction treatment (MAT), and novel and emerging substances.

Participants will learn about evolving overdose risks, current approaches to overdose prevention and response, the role of MAT, and how emerging substances are impacting drug user health. The session will also highlight practical, person-centered approaches that promote safety, connection, and access to care.

This training will be offered both in person and virtually. Participants may choose the format that works best for them.

Join us for an opportunity to build knowledge, challenge stigma, and strengthen our community’s response to the changing landscape of substance use.
